Nollywood actress, Juliana Olayode, has accused Timileyin Adigun, a pastor at The Ark Church in Lagos, of sexually assaulting her sister.
Adigun, who once identified as the actress’ spiritual father and manager, has engaged in a heated war of words on social media with the actress over her claim.
Adigun had put out a three-part video clip claiming that ‘Toyo Baby’ as she’s fondly called, came by his office trembling because she knew she wronged him.
On his Instagram story, the cleric also refuted Olayode’s claims of abusing her sister.
“I have been brought before a social media jury. I have to speak the truth but it is still up to individuals to choose what to believe,” he said.
“That said, I want to make it public here that I am ready to stand before any court or panel and I am ready to be investigated.
“When you know you have told the truth, there is no more fear. I never sexually abused anyone! I have facts, figures, and dates. What I was guilty of, I owned up to and apologized for. The next I want to see is a subpoena.
I will continue on social media and continue building my businesses and ministry. This is a distraction I have no time for. I will not be posting on this again.”
In response, Olayode insisted she found that Adigun invited her sister from school, lodged her in a hotel, and touched her inappropriately in what she described as a three-day sexual assault.
The actress also added that Adigun asked her sister to allow him to perform anal sex with her.
According to her, she suspected a while back that the pastor was touching her sister and had visited him to ask him to stop.
Olayode said the cleric denied the allegation, accusing her of using his ”weakness and struggles” against him.
The words that accompanied the video on her Instagram page read, “you manipulated and sexually abused my sister and you thought I would be calm, you expect me not to be furious. How are you processing the things you did, the things you said? How? I don’t get you.”
“You talk about apology and forgiveness. Forgiving you is a process for me. I forgave you then, for my sanity. Just when I am trying to move on, you do something else that triggers me and I get mad at you again.”
“The hurt is really deep, the pain, the trauma, the disappointment, the sleepless nights, the tears that drenched my pillow, the shock, the entire experience is indescribable. There is so much to say. I don’t have the words yet.”
In another video, the actress had called out Adigun amidst tears for taking control of her Facebook and social media accounts to which the Pastor responded that he has given back all the details of her accounts in his custody and doesn’t have any control over her pages.
Meanwhile, In 2020, Adigun tendered a public apology after he was accused of sexually assaulting teenagers in his ministry.
