So many versions of how and why Chris Ndulue killed his fiancée, Olamide Alli have been bandied around the media space. This is including how that the real reason he murdered Olamide and killed himself at their Victory Park Estate, Lekki, was due to the paternity of their two children. However, what many do not know is that Chris, an Enugu State indigene, is a serial abuser.

First and foremost, his name is Chris Ndulue and not Chris Ndukwe as it is being reported. Chris used to live in Port Harcourt and while there, he attempted to kill his then fiancée over a flimsy excuse. He threw her down a two storey building but he was unsuccessful. The lady survived and quickly relocated to Canada with the help of her family members.

Chris managed to elude facing justice and relocated to Lagos where he met Olamide who fell hopelessly in love with him. She was still in school when they met and in her second year in school, she got pregnant for him. She had the baby who is now 7 years old. The second one who is now 3 years old was born after she finished school.

Naturally, her parents, one of who is a pastor, expected them both to make their union legal having finished with school, with two children in tow. The began preparations and their wedding was fixed for next month.

On the fateful day, Chris invited Olamide over to his house and she went from her parent’s house where she lived with her nanny. Chris had only recently moved into his apartment at Victory Park Estate about three weeks ago as preparations for the wedding was already in earnest.

Later that evening after drowning himself with a bottle of Hennessy XO, while playing loud music, he invited Olamide into the room where he was in and that was when he carried out the dastardly act; tied her to a chair, taped her mouth, used a plier to remove her braids one after the other, plucked her eyes, stabbed her 11 times and then committed suicide.

Now no one can tell for sure what prompted him to do what he did but it surely wasn’t because he doubted the paternity of his children. Olamide’s parents are actually the ones who are insisting on carrying out a paternity test just to allay anyone’s doubt. This is despite the fact that the children actually look like their father.

An education trust fund has now been set up for her two children by AGS Tribe, a Pan African community built to inspire, connect and build the capacity of young entrepreneurs and professionals. Olamide Alli was a mentee of the founder, Ife Durosinmi-Etti and she is the one spearheading the trust fund which will be managed by FBN Quest Trustees.
