The  household of Chike Ogeah, a former information commissioner for Delta State has been thrown into mourning as his wife, Olufunke died on Sunday after a prolonged illness.

She was aged 62.

In a statement issued by the former information commissioner, he expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and condolences received from friends and associates during this difficult time.

He also said funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.

Olufunke is survived by her husband, her 91-year-old mother, Kanyi-sola Sophia Koya, her daughter, two sons, a grandson, brother, and three sisters.
