Some men believed to be agents of the Department of State Security, DSS, have arrested Channels TV Sunrise Daily presenters over an anti-Buhari interview they anchored.

According to NewsmakersNG, the presenters, Chamberlain Usoh and Kayode Okikiolu were picked up by DSS operatives on Wednesday morning.

Their arrest is said to be connected with interviews they anchored with Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State during which he accused President Muhammadu Buhari of promoting a Fulanisation agenda as well as another interview with retired Air Commodore Kunle Olawunmi who alleged that members of Buhari’s cabinet, governors, and some high ranking government officials are sponsors of Boko Haram.

Sunrise Daily’s lead anchor and producer, Chamberlain Usoh, confirmed their arrest via telephone.
