The family of late gospel artiste and a former contestant at the maiden edition of the West African Idol, Eric Arubayi, have released the burial arrangements of the 33 year old who died on Saturday February 11th from complications of consumption of expired anti-malaria drug. He will be buried on February 25th in Delta state. Recall that the lead choir singer of House on the Rock church had purchased some malaria tablets to treat a bout of malaria fever, days leading to his death but was unaware that the drugs were expired drugs. The drugs reportedly began to wreck havoc in his system prompting him to be rushed to the Delta State Teaching Hospital. He reportedly went into a coma from which he never woke up. Married with a son, Eric was the son of the Former Delta State University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Arubayi. May his soul rest in peace Amen.
