In its 60th year, the annual Grammy Awards which was hosted by British talk show host, James Corden took place over the weekend at Madison Square Garden, New York, 15 years after the last time it held in the Big Apple. Just like at the Golden Globes, stars as much as possible adhered to the pleas of Voices in Entertainment, a group which encouraged celebrities to wear white roses in continued protest to sexual harassment and inequality against women in the work place business. Inspired by the #Time’sUp campaign, the group choose the white rose because historically, it stands for hope, peace, sympathy and resistance. For Bruno Mars, it was a night worth celebrating as he took home five awards with rapper, Kendrick Lamar going home with five of the awards.
