Maje Ayida and Abi Kuku are very good friends and this may not be unconnected to the fact that they have quite a lot in common. They are both silver-spoon kids with good pedigree. They have both resorted to find their calling in other things rather than get involved in the family business. They were both once married. Both are currently divorced and both had very messy divorce processes. And both of them had no children from their failed marriages. However while Maje Ayida’s marriage to OAP, Toke Makinwa ended about two years into his marriage due to infidelity on his part, Abi Kuku’s own to fashion entrepreneur and bank executive, Funke Fowler, equally ended about two years into his own marriage as well when he decided to turn his wife into a punching bag. While Maje is in a committed relationship with a lady named Anita Solomon with whom he has a son with and who was the reason for the collapse of his marriage, it is yet to be known if Abi Kuku is seeing someone seriously. But one thing you can take away is their ability to find solace in each other having gone through similar experiences while bonding over it. So close is their bond that they attend the few events they can muster up the courage to attend, together. And they also spend a great deal of their time together, hanging out. Perhaps both should exchange notes on how best to keep their marriages should they decide to go into it together.
