It was an amazing experience when on the 12th of November, the much anticipated annual Miss Kanekalon event took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites. From celebrities to fashionistas to hair lovers and very many distinguished guests, everyone was eager to see who among the several beauties competing for the title will emerge winner. The event which kicked off at 5pm picked up at high momentum but reached a peak when the contestants started filling out to showcase their hair and display their talents. The delectable Miss Benahili Ojeme Faith was eventually crowned Miss Kanekalon 2016, whisking home the grand prize of a brand-new Nissan Altima 2016, and a whopping N2million. Miss Mahalia Bamford from Ghana was crowned the first runner-up while Opaluwa Ojotule Tamarai was crowned the second runner-up as both went home with N1.5million and N1million, respectively. Those in attendance had lots of fun and were given exciting freebies while enjoying music performances from Patoranking and Falz the bahd guy.
