Bello, the first son of the former Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir El Rufai, has taken a second wife.
He wedded Aisha, the daughter of Habibu Shuaibu, the former military administrator for Plateau and Niger states on Saturday and the wedding party took place in the state.
Although the Nikkah ceremony between the two happened on May 19 in Abuja, yesterday’s ceremony was meant to fete family and friends.
While the ceremony was attended by family members, top political figures and close friends, the father of the groom was conspicuously absent.
The state governor, Uba Sani however represented the bridegroom’s father.
The groom was Uba’s former legislative aide when he was a member of the House of Representatives, representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency.
Bello is currently a member of the House of Representatives, also representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency.
Five years ago, Bello walked down the aisle with his first wife, Kamilah, a niece to late former first lady, Maryam Babangida.
