Renowned fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood has revealed to the world the secret to her youthfulness and it is that she only takes a shower once a week.
The 76-year-old designer credits her once a week bath to her youthful appearance adding that people shouldn’t wash too much in other to retain their youthfulness and to be radiant.
And she’s not the only one making this shocking revelation of sporadic baths. Her much younger husband, Andreas Kronthaler also claims to take a shower once a month.
Famous for her stance with the environment, Vivienne Westwood has previously spoken about her water-saving approach to washing. In a 2014 campaign for Peta, Vivienne Westwood said that she became a vegetarian not just because the meat industry is the worst polluter of the planet but because it also ‘squanders most of our waters’.
