After several months of anticipation, L’Oréal Paris has unveiled its 12 shade lipstick capsule collection which it did in collaboration with the creative director of Balmain, Olivier Rousteing with an official launch during Paris Fashion Week next month.

The campaign features 12 women of different origins and backgrounds all in a bid to evoke a message of beauty in diversity and female empowerment.
According to Olivier Rousteing, “L’Oréal Paris and Balmain share the same strong vision of femininity and the same goal, to empower women and offer them diverse ways to express themselves. With this collaboration, I’m thrilled to make this idea tangible for every woman around the world.”

This will be Balmain’s foray into the beauty business under Olivier Rousteing’s direction. With this he has joined the growing list of fashion houses like Chanel, Tom Ford YSL who have forayed into the beauty industry. Balmain under Olivier who is an advocate of diversity had previously launched a children’s line and a collaboration with H&M

The lipstick collection already a must have among lovers of both brands as one is sold every three seconds. The collection will come in three packs: Rock, Couture and Glamazone, and will be available in 12 metallic matte shades designed for every complexion.
