Nollywood screen goddess, Genevieve Nnaji is one actress who has tried her hands in several business other than acting. From the real estate business to singing to making her directorial debut in ‘LionHeart’ to running a fashion business which she aptly named St Genevieve. The clothing line had an infusion of her personal style and was made up of mostly stylish dresses, trousers, tops, and skirts that one can wear to an array of events. The clothing line which she debuted in 2014 was repackaged and relaunched in partnership with Jumia, a consumer goods e-commerce retail platform, two years after. With the new partnership, the clothing line was to be sold exclusively on Jumia Fashion. Unfortunately, over four years after the relaunch, nothing has been heard about the fashion line and even Genevieve these days prefer to adorn clothes from other fashion designers, sourced by her long-time celebrity stylist, Veronica Odeka.

Unfortunately, less than a year after the grand opening of the club which was located in Lekki Phase one, it had to be shut down. According to a very reliable source, very unlike the reason AY touted for why the club was closed down – to re-strategize, AY had a running battle with his landlord, the late Goke Omisore, the older brother of popular Osun politician, Iyiola Omisore. His landlord came up with all sort of impossible rules he wanted AY to abide by, coupled with the fact that the rent got jacked up despite the fact that the initial rent agreement was yet to run out. All of these and many more quickly prompted the comedian cum actor to shut down the business for good.
