Sunday July 16th was a day Nigerian actress, Ashionye Raccah looked forward to as it was the day she returned to the movie world after a hiatus, with the premiere of her highly anticipated drama series, ‘Everything in-between’.
The drama series which stars Ashionye Raccah herself, also featured Denrele Edun, Ayoola Ayoola, Daniel Effiong and a few others. The series explores issues of sacrifice, love, sexuality and societal pressure on women to get married, either by conformity or by choice
It tells the stories of three young professionals; Emma Okoye, Dayna Elliot and Demola Ogunjimi, and their struggle to conform to what is considered the norm in the Nigerian society. All characters faced similar challenges; judged on the basis of who they are and who they love.
Set to hit the cinemas on July 21st, ‘Everything in-between is produced by The Initiative for Equal Rights (TIERs) in association with Alleykat Media. It was directed by the duo of Uduak-Obong Patrick and Ashionye Raccah.
