The Minister of Justice and the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami is all set to increase the number of wives he has with his marriage to one of President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughters, Nana-Hadiza.

The wedding is reportedly taking place today, Friday July 8, in Abuja at a private Nikkai ceremony devoid of fanfare and would be attended by close family members of Malami and Buhari and also some top government officials.

Nana-Hadiza whose daughter was recently in the news having just completed her higher school certificate examination from Nigerian Tulip International Colleges, Abuja, is Buhari’s third daughter with his first wife, Safinatu. She used to be married to Abdulrahman Mamman Kurfi until the marriage collapsed up due to irreconcilable differences.

The 41 year old received the following education: First Essence International School, then Cobham Hall, in Kent, United Kingdom. Buhari’s daughter got a higher education at the University of Buckingham. Then she received her postgraduate degree at National Teachers Institute, Kaduna. She also has a Masters diploma in International Affairs and Strategic Studies, Polytechnic Kaduna.

She currently works with Africa Support and Empowerment Initiative as well as The Nigerian Peace Corps (PCN) where she is the Chairperson position.

The nuptials will be the fourth wedding to hold in the Buhari household since he became president. The other three weddings are thatof Zahra Ahmed Indimi, Yusuf Buhari and Aisha Mohammed Sha’aban.
