Last week Friday, June 9th to be precise was comedian and actor, Basorge Tariah jnr’s 50th birthday and while he allowed that day to just go by without doing anything significant to mark his entrance into the golden club, his close friends were busy plotting a surprise party for him.

Led by the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, the dinner party took place at Villa De Medici in Victoria Island. Some of his colleagues who were in attendance were Julius Agwu and his wife Ibiere, Okey Bakassi, Bovi, Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st as well as his co-actor on his TV series ‘Do Good’, Kate Henshaw

An all round entertainer, Basorge who graduated with a BA in Choreography from the University of Port-Harcourt, was once a dance champion in 1983, winning the National Dancing Competition. He in addition to the many things he is into, runs the Creek Search Initiative (CSI), an initiative that addresses the falling standards among youths and winning the hopes of the young generation.
