She resumed the ‘Dangerous Woman’ tour in Paris amid tight security and her fans didn’t disappoint as they turned out en masse.
Security was extra tight at Bercy, the concert venue in East Paris where the gig took place. Roads were blocked off while police helped security guards to check fans as they arrived for the show. By around 5.30pm on Wednesday, a long queue stretched outside the venue with fans patiently waiting for an hour to get inside, where backpacks were banned.
The tour is happening just 24 hours after police shot and injured man who attacked an officer outside the famous Notre Dame cathedral and days after another terror attack in London killed eight people.
“Thank you Paris, I love you. Grateful to be back,” the singer said on Instagram after the show.
