Even though they are not new comers in the movie industry, Face and Lisa Onu are set to make an impression with their very first outing as movie producers when their movie, ‘Busted’ finally hits the cinemas in a few weeks and who better to interpret the story line which is controversial, than a handful of veterans who know their onions. Parading Liz Benson, Paul Obazele, Kate Henshaw amongst others, ‘Busted’ isn’t your typical love story judging by how things not considered the norm in certain societies suddenly becomes the preferred way of life for the main character.
Otherwise known as ‘A Lone Road’, ‘Busted’ is a gay love story revolving round Queen Edwards who comes from a decent home but who would later find consolation in an unusual place thus leading to a total change in her sexual orientation, religious belief and value system. With the bill against same sex fully in effect, the law becomes Queen and her love interest’s albatross which leads to the test of their love.
Written and produced by Face Onu, the movie which also stars Lisa Onu, IK Ogbonna etc. will be premiered on the 21st of May 2017, at Lagos Oriental Hotel by 7:00pm
