Barely three months after she threw a lavish destination party to herald her 50th birthday, Dupe Olusola, the managing director/chief executive officer of Transcorp Hotels Plc, has been replaced by Uzo Oshogwe effective January 1, 2025.

Oshogwe is currently the MD/CEO of Afriland Properties Ltd, management, investment, and development company. She is expected to bring her over 30 years of professional experience to bear as the new helms’ woman.

Oshogwe has held leadership positions at the United Bank for Africa Plc and Accenture UK.

She holds a BSc. in Chemistry from Ambrose Alli University, Edo State, an MSc in Information Systems Design from the University of Westminster, London and a professional certificate in Real Estate Management from Harvard Business School, USA. She is an RICS accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants. She is an Alumna of the Lagos Business School and IESE, Spain having attended the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) and Chief Executive Programme of the institutions.

Dupe was appointed to the position of MD/CEO of Transcorp Hotels on March 25, 2020. Before then, she was Group Head, Marketing, United Bank for Africa.
