Last week, one half of the singing duo, Paul Okoye of PSquare fame, tied the knot traditionally with his second wife, Ivy Ifeoma.

One would have expected his twin brother, Peter, with whom he reconciled with after many years of feuding, to have been there as a show of support. But he wasn’t.

Not a few speculated that his absence was as a result of him not being in support of his twin brother’s marriage.

Well, nothing could be farther from the truth.

Sources reveal that the twins alongside their older brother, Jude are at war again and this time, the problems tearing them apart seems to be more serious than what broke them up before.

Trouble allegedly began when Peter was approached by a company interested in buying  Psquare’s music catalogue comprising all their works over the years. The buyers allegedly gave a condition stating that the brothers had to show the statement of account of all the royalties received over the years to enable them to peg a price to what would be paid for the catalogue.

Excited at this, Peter approached Jude and Paul and told them about the proposal but after weeks of waiting for a response, it then dawned on Peter that something was obviously fishy and so he began his own discreet investigation to ascertain what the problem could be.

Now Northside entertainment is the company registered by the twins as their entertainment company, but their brother Jude made himself the only signatory to the account.

Peter allegedly discovered that company’s account had been diverting funds to a new music company which has Jude’s wife, Ifeoma as the director and her family address used for its registration. The money being diverted are royalties due to the singers from 2007 till date and running into millions of dollars.

Both Paul and Jude have been taking the royalties from the music of Paul and Peter without informing Peter.

At this point, the Economic crimes and financial commission, EFCC had to be involved and while Jude has allegedly, officially agreed to refund the diverted funds, all his accounts both in Nigeria and internationally have been frozen until further notice.

Paul in trying to take sides with Jude indicted himself as an accomplice who shares the money that was diverted with Jude.

The trio were spotted at the EFCC office on Thursday June 6, 2024 and the atmospehre was hot with the brothers telling each other to do their worst according to inside sources.

Jude was allegedly detained but was released in time for his birthday to Amaju Pinnick, a former Nigeria Football Federation, NFF president who signed his bail bond.

More on this later.
