Music mogul Sean Combs aka Diddy, has apologised after a disturbing video emerged showing him assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura aka Cassie, in a hotel hallway in 2016.

In a video posted to his Instagram page, Diddy acknowledged the severity of his actions.

“That behaviour in that video is inexcusable,” he stated.

“I take full responsibility for my actions. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now.”

Diddy went on to reveal that he sought professional help, including therapy and rehab, following the incident.

“I sought out professional help; I had to go on therapy and rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry.

“I’m committed to being a better man, each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”

On Friday, a video emerged showing Diddy physically assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway in 2016.

The video, captured from multiple angles revealed Diddy chasing Cassie down the hallway in a towel before attacking her near the elevators.

The incident took place at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.
