Tony Elumelu, the Chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA) has expanded his business frontiers with the opening of a branch of the bank in the oil-rich Middle East country of United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The new branch is situated at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) in Dubai.

This move by the bank marks its presence in 24 countries globally and on four continents.

Speaking about the unveiling of the new branch, Elumelu said what started as an ambitious dream is today a reality.
