The duo of Mercy Aigbe and Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi have teamed up together to solicit financial support for one of their colleagues, Kemi Afolabi.
Afolabi had earlier revealed that she was suffering from Lupus and the doctor has told her that she has only five years to live.
“I have Lupus and it is incurable. I just have to take medication for the rest of my life.
“At a point, I was exhausted after spending a lot, I said I would stop and just wait for death to come but I braced up for my daughter and I have continued to spend N1.2million on medication to survive.
“I have sold my cars, property and money for business. Funke Akindele-Bello and Mercy Aigbe have been helpful and others have reached out. But I still need more support to continue with my medication.”
Toyin and Mercy took to their Instagram to announce the GofundMe created for the actress. They called on their fans and other celebrities to send their support to the account.
“Hello everyone, we need your support, Kemi needs your support” Aigbe wrote.
