Recall that in November, 2021 Davido told his friends, associates and anyone who ever benefited from him, to gift him N1 million each, to enable him clear his Rolls Royce from the port ahead of his 29th birthday.
However, what started off as a joke turned into multi million naira making machine as the crooner was able to raise N200 milllion. The singer further surprised many when he added N50 million making the total sum, N250 million.
He then disclosed that he is going to donate all the N250 million to registered orphanages across the country. He also set up a team to monitor the distribution of fund across the country.
Davido recently made good his promise and made his first donation to the Kingdom Kings Klub in Plateau State.
