Her Majesty, Queen Silekunola Naomi, has appealed to all aggrieved persons to allow peace to reign as she announced her separation from the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II.

The 28-year-old evangelist urged all parties involved to allow the peace of God because of her son, Tadenikawo, who the Ooni fathered.

Silekunola, who got married to the monarch in 2018 on Thursday announced via her social media pages that she was no longer in the marriage.

According to her, she tried to make the union work but said the monarch’s public identity is at variance with “his true self”.

Similarly, elders in Ile Ife are making a last-minute move to reconcile the Ooni and his estranged wife.

Sources in the palace reveal that some of the elders contacted Prophetess Naomi in a bid to reconcile their differences.

Meanwhile, the Ooni has remained mum over the divorce notice served him by his Olori.
