Film maker, director and actor, Kunle Afolayan has been appointed to the Board of the Lagos State Council of Arts & Culture. Afolayan who just released the trailer of his new work, ‘Omugwo’ in conjunction with Africa Magic was considered because of his track record in the movie industry.
According to the letter which was signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tunji Bello which reads in part, “In approving your appointment, due cognizance has been taken of your integrity, selfless service and past records of impressive performance. I therefore have no doubt that you will bring tour wealth of experience to bear on the newly-assigned responsibility and continue to justify the confidence reposed in your by his Excellency, The Governor.”
