For many who have followed passionately, the personal life of actress and entrepreneur, Iyabo Ojo, they would have noticed how very close she has grown with older actress and mother of one, Lola Alao who currently resides in Canada. And if you are wondering the reason for their closeness before now, it has nothing to do with both of them being colleagues but everything to do with Lola Alao playing the role of a ‘mother in-law’ to Iyabo Ojo.
Lola Alao is very close to politician, Dino Melaye and a former Senator in the eighth National Assembly. So close are they that Lola refers to him as her brother, her blood, majorly because they both come from Kogi State and have both closed ‘deals’ together business wise.
Also, Dino trusts Lola so well that when it comes to female matters, he leaves it to Lola to handle for him. A case in point being her colleague, Bisi Ibidapo Obe whom she introduced to Dino a few years ago while he was still married to the mother of his three children, for a relationship which later resulted into a pregnancy. Up until today, Dino has refused to accept that he is the father of the product of his relationship with Bisi, a young girl of about seven.
Not only did the Bisi getting pregnant end her relationship with Dino, it also ended her friendship with Lola who got angry with Bisi for allowing herself get pregnant when it wasn’t part of their discussion.
Well having been single all these years, with two marriages down the drain; one to Alero Falope and to the mother of his children, Tokunbo – both of who filed for divorce following domestic violence they suffered while they lived with him, Dino is inclined to move on with his life and find himself a suitable companion. And of course, Lola came to the rescue with Iyabo who is equally single and parted ways amicably with the father of her two children, Priscilla and Festus years ago.
