Deposed Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi who departed Awe, Nasarawa, where he was banished to after his removal, arrived Lagos last night after his childhood friend and Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, successfully hot him out of Nasarawa State using a court order gotten earlier in the day. Accompanying him to Abuja, El-Rufai made ensured he board a flight to Lagos.

On arrival in Lagos, he was received by a member of Kings College Lagos alumni, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of Trinity House, a close friend of the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Sanusi is also an alumnus of Kings College, Lagos.

Ighodalo prayed for the deposed emir, thanking God for Sanusi’s safe return to Lagos. While praying for the greatness of the nation, Ighodalo prayed that Nigeria will be more tolerant of the truth.
