Senator Binta Masi Garba who served in the National Assembly for 16 years has been ordained as a pastor at the International Praise Chapel church, Yola.   Sharing the photos on her social media page, she wrote: “Today, I was ordained as a Pastor at International Praise Chapel, Yola. To God be the glory”

The business woman and administrator who was a senator from June 2015 – June 2019, representing Adamawa North Senatorial District of Adamawa under the All Progressive Congress, APC, was also a member of the Federal House of Representative 1999–2011. She was defeated in 2019 by Senator Elisha Abbo who was accused of assaulting a woman at a sex toy shop in Abuja.
