Actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dike has onfessed that her little over a year union with to Olakunle Churchill was based on lies and deceit. The actress who engaged her Instagram fans in a chit chat revealed that she contracted STDs from her husband on several occasions and had to endure a lot of pain in her marriage. She however said she takes all the blame as she was in love with her erstwhile husband, Churchill.

“If laughter is all they have then the karma that bite me awaits them all. Tanx for your love. Yes no marriage is perfect but mine was based on gross lies, deceit, scam and many more darkness. I loved the man no one begged me to, I take all the blame.”

She also added that she had to keep up appearances by making the public believe that Churchill was showering her with gifts when in actual fact, she was the one doing the purchases. She also said that she had instead used her connections to get him to become who he is today

Dikeh’s husband had in a recent interview said that he was not bothered about his marital crisis saying that it was a passing phase.
“I see nothing in it, it’s a phase of life. Since it does not affect my cheques and savings. But I truly want to call on bloggers or on social media addicts to verify facts before assuming.
“Every marriage has good and bad moments, it’s just unfortunate that I recently discovered that the alledged marriage instability is making headlines on some media platforms.
“Please Tonto Dikeh fans and well wishers take it easy on her, guess she is still adjusting to motherhood. With time, it will be well,” he had said.

Unfazed by her marriage woes, the actress has embarked on a philanthropic drive that has seen her traversing the length and breadth of the country on a charity drive to school which she aptly tagged, ‘Back to school’.
