President Muhammadu Buhari has completed a mausoleum in honour of Nigeria’s first president, Nnamdi Azikiwe. Azikiwe, a foremost Nigerian nationalist died on 11 May 1996, during the Abacha administration. He was 92 years old.  A contract to erect the mausoleum was awarded 21 years ago but it got abandoned half way and became the playground of all kinds of reptiles. Today, the mausoleum is standing well and finished in  Onitsha, Anambra State. It was dedicated on Monday, 10 December by the Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola. However, furnishing of the monument is yet to be accomplished.
