A little over nine years ago, Marifa Whyte was the IT girl on the social scene that many wanted to be like. She was beautiful, of mixed race, supposedly intelligent enough to float a business in the financial sector, Savers Q discount card, a premier lifestyle discount card which gets members discounts with over 1000 participating merchants, and it is used mainly in Nigeria and other destinations of interest, as well as a lover who doted on her. The snag in that was that the lover, wealthy businessman, Mohammed Asibelua was married to Abuja based business woman and the face behind the fashion brand, Momo couture, Fati Asibelua.

But both Marifa Whyte and Mohammed were past caring as they were so into each other. This was made all the more possible because Fati Asibelua was yet to bear Mohammed a child, something he desperately craved for. Thus Mohammed, spoilt Marifa silly. He got her an expensive apartment at Bourdillon Ikoyi, and also bought her expensive automobiles. Their escapade eventually produced a child, to Mohammed and his Marifa’s delight. His love for her sky rocketed thus prompting him to spoil her all the more by opening an event park for kids, Ticklebay, in her name. No doubt this ‘union’ of convenience threatened his marriage to Fati.

Unfortunately, their whirlwind romance soon became shaky when fourteen years after her union with Mohammed, Fati Asibelua finally welcomed a pair of twins, three years after Marifa welcomed a baby boy for her lover. Expectedly, Mohammed was over the moon with this development and even though Marifa tried to solidify her relationship with Mohammed, seeing that she was fast loosing face with him, Mohammed preferred to keep her as his mistress while concentrating his love and affection on his wife. Devastated by this, Marifa decided to keep a low profile and take a long break from the social scene.

Apparently things must have gone awry with Mohammed as Marifa seem to have finally moved on with her life and has found comfort in the hands of another married wealthy business man, Akanimo Udofia who is fondly referred to by friends as AK47. Based in Canada, Akanimo who is also a philanthropist is the founder of Desicon Group with interest spanning engineering, construction, oil and gas and maritime.
