Actress and television presenter, Zainab Balogun took many by surprise when without notice except to her friends, held her traditional wedding today with her boyfriend, Dikko Nwachukwu, the founder and CEO of Jet West Airways The couple have been in a private relationship for some time and decided to begin their forever journey. Zainab’s traditional wedding comes just four months after she took to her instagram to rant about how it has been difficult for her to snag a man since she relocated six years ago. Perhaps that rant was to throw many who may have been trying to sniff out her relationship status, off balance.

It is worthy to note that Zainab Balogun’s husband, Dikko Nwachukwu is Igbo and a widower. The 44 year old was once married to Olufunmilola Ololade who died in London at age 35 on April 5, 2015. They were married for 11 years and were blessed with two boys, Ethan and Eli. Dikko a serial entrepreneur is also the senior partner of Jet West, an aviation advisory outfit focused on bringing global best practices to airlines, airports and service providers in Africa’s aviation sector.
The couple
As at last year, there were talks of him floating an airline, Jet West Airways and by December 2017, had gotten clearance to make his maiden voyage. Until recently, Dikko Nwachukwu was the Chief Commercial Officer at Aero Contractors of Nigeria; where he was responsible for revenues, network planning and fleet planning, amongst other key roles.
