The lingering red dress scandal continues unabated as actress, Mercy Aigbe has responded to the letter written to fashion designer, Maryam Elisha where the bride, Lawrentta Sawyer threatened to sue both the designer and the actress if Maryam who is the face behind Rikaoto by Me fashion house, fails to resolve the matter.

Now Mercy through her lawyers have responded to the letter indicating that she never met with the designer of the controversial dress let alone connive with her to deny the bride her dress.

To this end, the actress has demanded a public apology within 7 days or she will also seek redress in a law court and further sue the aggrieved bride and the designer for false accusation and an attempt to defame her person.
