Scores of movie lovers and members of the acting profession gathered together a week ago for the premiere of the highly anticipated movie, A Hotel Called Memory which was produced by former actress now movie producer, Ego Boyo via her Temple productions. Directed by seasoned director, Akin Omotosho, A Hotel Called Memory is Nigeria’s first contemporary silent film and the production is bound to not only task one’s intelligence but keep the conversation going long after the movie is over. Shot in three African cities; Lagos, Cape Town and Zanzibar, the movie follows the life of Lola played by Nse Ikpe Etim, a young mother who goes on a journey of self rediscovery after getting divorced from her husband.
