Tamar Braxton and husband headed for divorce

After nearly nine years of marriage, singer, Tamar Braxton has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert.  The reality star and singer speaking out via her representative says, “At this time we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision and has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert. Collectively, their 4 year old son, Logan and his well-being during this extremely unfortunate process is most important. We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone’s love and prayers.”

Rumors of marital issues have been swirling for over a year, especially after police were called to an Atlanta hotel because Vincent allegedly bit Tamar in August of 2016. Tamar officially filed for divorce Monday, October 24, in Los Angeles County, just a month shy of their 10^th year anniversary. Tamar and Vincent started dating in 2003. Her sister, Toni Braxton had been working with him and introduced them. Their relationship has been a rollercoaster one with Tamar recently moving out of the family home.
