Just days after the attorney in the alleged rape case against hip hop star, Nelly suggested that he broke Washington state law by bullying and intimidating the alleged victim, the victim is now asking the police to stop the investigation. She is refusing to testify and wants the whole case thrown out.

Earlier in the week, Karen Koehler, who represents the alleged victim, wrote a letter in response to Nelly’s claims about the victim, in which he described her as a ‘person with an agenda’ who is seeking money, fame and notoriety. In the letter, Koehler wrote, “It is morally reprehensible for an accused person and his bully lawyer to issue derogatory and defamatory statements against a young alleged rape victim. It is also criminal in the state of Washington when those vicious attacks are issued in the form of threats.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

However, despite Koehler’s letter, the alleged victim feels like she can’t stand up to a celebrity. According to TMZ, the victim told Auburn officials and the King County D.A. to put a halt to the criminal investigation of Nelly. She will not testify further in a criminal proceeding against him. Koehler says the victim feels as if the system has failed her. She said, “Who will believe her. People are saying horrible things already. She cannot handle this. She is about to break.”
