The feud between erstwhile label mates, Kcee and Harrysong may be far from over as they may have led us to believe as Kcee sues Harrysong his former colleague, for human rights abuse.
Joined as respondent in the suit is Soso Soberekon who until two months ago was the record label’s artist manager. In the court documents with suit number LD/5488MFHR served respondents in the persons of Harry Tare Okire aka Harrysong and Soso Soberekon holden at a Lagos High Court, Kingsley Okonkwo aka Kcee the applicant, is seeking an order for the enforcement of his fundamental human rights under the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, under the United Nations declarations of human and people’s rights.

No one is particularly sure what this is all about but Harrysong thinks it is nothing but sheer jealously on the part of Kcee who is the the vice president of Five Star Music record label. He is of the opinion that ever since he left the record label owned by Kcee and his younger brother, Emeka ‘E-Money’ Okonkwo, it has been a difficult pill for Kcee to swallow. He believed that his success since leaving to be on his own causes Kcee diarrhea, despite all of the insults he has had to swallow from him to let peace reign.
Recall that Harrysong had exited the record label he once called home in a manner that caused a breach of contract, to go set up his own record label, AltarPlate. His contract was yet to expire when he called it quits. He had alleged that his services were not being appreciated especially as he had to render other services outside of the scope of what he signed up for. He revealed at that time, that he was responsible for writing all of Kcee’s lyrics as Kcee was knew next to nothing about song writing.
With some intimidation and harassment using the Nigerian police, Harrysong swallowed his pride and went back to the label, bidding when his contract will eventually come to an end, He eventually left after receiving blessings from Kcee and his brother. Also, only last month, Kcee had announced on his Instagram a new artiste manager who was to replace Soso Soberekon. No reason was given as to why Soso popularly known as White Lion was being let go but speculations about a misunderstanding between him and the record label he served for about five years forced him to issue a statement to debunk any such rumour, adding that he left in other to pursue his own personal business.
Well the drama is still unfolding and it remains to be seen what come out of the latest saga.
