Singer, Abolore Adegbola Akande, more popularly known as 9ice, on Monday December 30th, held the grand finale of his wedding to one of his baby mamas, Olasunkanmi Ajala, in the presence of friends, family and well-wishers. It was a white wedding which was followed by a reception party at the Oriental hotel, Lagos.
Recall that couple had performed the registry and engagement legs of their wedding ceremony on Boxing day, Thursday December 26 at Radisson Blu, Ikeja GRA. For the registry wedding, Olasunkanmi wore an ivory dress, designed by Imad Ediso Bridal while she settled for a nectar mirage motif Komole iro and buba outfit, designed by Deola Sagoe.
Before they eventually decided to give marriage a shot, Sunkanmi and 9ice had been in an off and on relationship. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Michelle Abolanle Akande, five years ago. Sunkanmi, an entrepreneur by profession, runs Lavish By Mitchelle Events, an upscale event planning company.
It will be recalled that in 2008, 9ice got married to Toni Payne, and they had a son, Zion together. After the marriage collapsed, 9ice got into a relationship with Vickie Godis who bore him a set of twins.
His second marriage was to Adetola Anifalaje, a United States-based software engineer in 2018. They had three wedding ceremonies which took place between March, July and August of the same year. His marriage with Adetola is blessed with a daughter, Milani- Francoise Imisioluwa Akande.
