Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode says his ex-wife has access to their kids but refuses to visit.

The estranged couple have been in a heated custody battle for their four children following the breakdown of their marriage in 2020 amid the latter’s domestic violence claims and the former’s counter-allegations of infidelity.

Chikwendu had recently spoken of how her ex-husband prevented her from seeing her kids over the past year.

“The children are with him, I haven’t seen them since August 2nd, 2020. I’ve been physically prevented from seeing them,” she had lamented.

“I don’t know if my children are alright because they don’t take my calls. I don’t know the school he changed my sons to. I’m told they go to school. The last I filed a suit, they said the children are in school and they are okay.”

Fani-Kayode, via Instagram on Saturday night, shared a video of their four children playing in the care of nannies.

He said Chikwendu has had access to the kids for over one year but willfully refused to pay them a visit.

“My handsome Princes with their nurses and nannies and other members of my household taken today,” he wrote.

“No bruises, no scars, no head wounds, no Covid 19, no nothing. Their mother has been given access to see them in the house for the last 1 year and 5 months but she has refused to do so.

“Despite that, they are happy and healthy. They have the very best of everything, they are surrounded by love, light, joy, prosperity, and peace.

“They get the very best of care from a set of highly trained and well-respected child care specialists and professionals.”

In a self-made video spanning nearly 40 minutes, Chikwendu earlier opened up on how her efforts to secure a court order mandating Fani-Kayode to let her see their children were “blocked” by the ex-minister’s lawyers.
