As the world celebrates World Refugee Day, Innocent ‘2baba’ Idibia has made good his promise to release a charity single in honour of the plight of Internally Displaced Persons in Nigeria. 60% of the proceeds from the single, ‘Hold My Hand’ will be channeled towards raising awareness for them when the song is downloaded, streamed or used back as ring tune. This he is doing through his foundation, 2Face Idibia Reachout Foundation and in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Nigeria (UNHCR).

Besides music, 2Baba is well known for his humane nature as he is also a Red Cross ambassador. Recall that earlier in the year, the pop legend made a presentation of a 3.5Million Naira cheque to the UNHCR as a show of faith. His Foundation has been at the forefront of humanitarian projects in Nigeria. With peace-building as the cardinal focus, he has employed channels like ‘Vote Not Fight’, ‘The 2face Peace Awards’, ‘Advocacy visits’, ‘Project 1.4/1.4’ to execute the foundation’s humane agenda and of course with several credible strategic partners.

Through his foundation’s  partnership with UNHCR, he ntends to assist the organization’s corporate fundraising drive with a  music sale, which he has mow released and a charity ball in the nearest future.
