The 2019 edition of The Headies Award was as expected, a night of glamour, speeches, loses, winnings and a friendly atmosphere of camaraderie. The event which took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, saw a few music favourites such as Teni, Rema, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Falz, etc taking home a plaque.

Here below is a full list of the nominees and the winners of the night which was hosted by indigenous rap artist, Reminisce and television presenter and actress, Nancy Isime.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR:

A voting category for the rookie of the year who has had a successful year musically, with the absence of an album in the year under review.
