Nigeria wins big at the 2017 Golden Movie Awards Africa (GMAA)

Yesterday, the 2017 edition of the Golden Movie Awards Africa (GMAA) held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra, Ghana and what a pleasant surprise it was that Nigeria came out tops winning 11 awards in total. The movie, ‘Lotanna’ executive produced by stylist and film maker, Ifan Ifeanyi Michael won in six of the 11 categories.

Hosted by popular Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun, and actress Osas Ighodaro Ajibade, the Golden Movie Awards Africa (GMAA) is an annual event that seeks to award excellence in movie making on the African continent and the African diaspora.

Besides the awards hosts who are Nigerians, other Nigerians who were at the Golden Movie Awards Africa (GMAA) were Ramsey Nouah, Beverly Naya, Chris Okagbue and Nancy Isime.
